About Me

For years, I was the dependable one.

The daughter who always said yes. The sister everyone could rely on. The person who made sure everyone else was okay, often at the expense of what I needed. I became very good at accommodating other people. Keeping the peace. Making myself smaller when it made someone else more comfortable. Feeling guilty when what I wanted didn't fit neatly around the needs of those around me.

That pattern followed me into my career. I spent seven years working in mental health, supporting people through some of life's hardest moments. Caring for others came naturally to me. Listening to myself didn't.

Eventually, I looked at my own life and realised I barely recognised it. I was living with my parents, deeply unhappy in my job, and living a life that didn't reflect the person I felt I was inside. I knew something needed to change, so I sought out a coach.

That experience gave me something I hadn't realised I was missing: space to really listen to myself. I started becoming more aware of what I wanted and needed, and how often I'd been making choices around other people's expectations. I began listening to my intuition rather than looking outside myself for the answer.

And I started making some big changes.

Then I experienced a miscarriage.

It pulled me off course and left me grieving physically and emotionally. I didn't recognise my body and, for a while, I didn't recognise myself either.

Rebuilding brought me back to what I had begun discovering about myself. Listening to what I needed became one of the greatest acts of care I could give myself. I finally understood that my needs mattered too.

I didn't have to disappear in order to care for other people.

Today, my life feels like mine.

Not because everything is perfect, but because the choices I make reflect who I am, what I need and how I want to live.

That’s why I created, The Art of Becoming.

For women who have spent so long caring, accommodating and keeping everyone else happy that they've stopped hearing themselves along the way.

This isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about hearing yourself again. Listening to your intuition. Understanding what you need and making choices that reflect it.

Not a perfect life. A life that feels like your own.
